Registration Fees cover half of the cost for your student to participate in activities and festivals. GJF also fundraises with events, sales and gift acceptance to collectively cover the other half of the cost of student activities, as well as to help offset or cover costs of instruments, clinician fees, scholarships, sheet music and other program fees not covered by the school district but essential to the quality music program our kids deserve.
The amount due depends on which band the student is in and reflects the number of festivals the student will attend. (Note: Band 1 fees do not include the cost of major trips like Essentially Ellington or Europe.)
The Foundation covers scholarships for families with financial need so every student can participate. If you need scholarship assistance, please contact Mr. Sessink at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org by November 30.
One payment for the entire year by November 30, 2019 is encouraged to simplify our accounting, but you can pay in two installments, if you prefer.
