Summer 2025 Improvisation Skill Training

Garfield parent/musicians are leading free mentoring sessions for student musicians. These sessions will help students play out to audiences with greater confidence. Other benefits include:

• Improve your chart reading

• Learn jazz theory, chord progressions and scales

• Build your library of jazz standards and transcriptions

• Get prepared to participate in the Garfield Gig Program
