All-Parent Mandatory Meeting
Parents of Jazz Ensembles 1,2 and 3, please attend a mandatory meeting to discuss financing of upcoming travel to Reno and potentially New York as well as GJF fundraising for the remainder of the year.
While Jazz 3 students will not be traveling this year, Jazz 3 parents are asked to join the conversation about fundraising for the rest for 2023 (first agenda item), and may wish to stay on to get a preview of travel conversations their students will be having in coming years.
We hope you all can make it! Please email communications@garfieldjazz.org if you are not able to and we'll try to record it.
Garfield Jazz Foundation Board Meeting
Monthly meeting of the Garfield Jazz Foundation board is open. All Garfield Jazz families are welcome to attend.

Gig Orientation
After school meeting for Jazz 1 & 2 students interested in gigs.
All students in Jazz 1 and 2 who are interested in being part of the combo gig program - even those who are already participating - must attend this 1/2 hour meeting to go over the Jazz Foundations' new gig policies.
Seabeck Retreat - Mandatory Meeting for Families
The Seabeck Retreat for Ensembles 1, 2 and 3 is coming up! Seattle Public Schools requires that we host a meeting with each family to go over travel expectations, procedures, and policies before an overnight trip. This is also when we collect all necessary info, including liability and general permissions, but most importantly medical/dietary and emergency contact.
Every traveling student and a parent/guardian must attend the meeting.
